Product Assurance Engineer - Space Quality

SpaceAble is a French company specialized in Space Situational Awareness (SSA). This growing startup relies on an experienced team that combines high tech, space engineering and regulatory skills. SpaceAble is establishing international partnerships with a large number of stakeholders to ensure the security of operations and enhance sustainability in low Earth orbit (LEO).

SpaceAble is developing an autonomous and maneuvering satellite to monitor low Earth orbit. The satellite will have to complete space rendezvous with space objects to inspect them.

Job: Position is open to people with disabilities

Contract: Permanent position

Position Type: Full-time or part-time (80% minimum)

Location: Toulouse (center) or Curemonte (19) - Possibility in Paris

Experience: Minimum 3 years

Travel: Occasional

Starting date: From September 2021

Salary: Commensurate with experience

Mission

Responsibilities:

Working with the engineering team, you will contribute to the development of an inspector satellite in low Earth orbit. You will lead the implementation of the product/quality assurance of the satellite.

Your main responsibilities will be to:

Define and implement the product assurance plan
Implement tracking tools and configuration management tools
Manage anomalies
Participate in risk management
Ensure the everyday respect of procedures
Participate in reviews
Implement procedures and criteria for selecting supply sources
Conduct audits of our partners/suppliers
Define and monitor supervision of the AIT activities
Define and monitor supervision of subcontracting activities
